ENERGY EFFICIENT BUILDING FINANCING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF PA

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania recently released updated guidelines for the Alternative and Clean Energy (ACE) program, which provides grants and loans for the development and construction of alternative and clean energy and energy efficiency projects in the state.  Applications for projects are now being accepted.

VILLANOVA OFFERS SUSTAINABILITY CREDENTIAL PROGRAM AT THE NAVY YARD

The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) has announced that the International Facility Management Association (IMFA) Sustainability Facility Professional Credential Program (SFP) has been approved for 70 general continuing education hours. LEED certified individuals can earn 70 CE credits for completing the SFP course. Villanova University, in partnership with IFMA, offers Facility Management Professional Credential (FMP) classes

NAVY YARD PARTNERSHIP CREATES BIO DIESEL FUEL

The Sustainability Workshop, sponsored by the Energy Efficient Buildings Hub (EEB Hub) and located at Quarters A at The Navy Yard, is a place for students to come together to learn and solve “real world” problems around sustainability and energy efficiency.  Throughout its inaugural year, students formed groups to work on a variety of projects.

PIDC CLEANS UP BARTRAM’S GARDEN
