ReAnimator Coffee

ReAnimator understands coffee. This local coffee shop takes their purpose as a roaster seriously. With blends for every preference, any coffee lover is sure to find their new favorite brew. Bask in the flavors of fall with their latest seasonal blend perfect for the transition into the cooler weather. With notes of caramel, red apple, and autumn spice, this coffee is just right for a cozy morning on the couch.

Attic Brewing

Nothing beats sipping on a crisp, locally brewed craft beer as you soak in the vibrant colors and cozy vibes of fall in Philly! Attic Brewing, located in historic Germantown, has been serving up craft beer since 2020. With a wide variety of beers, including West Coast IPAs, Hazy IPAs,  lagers, pilsners, stouts, porters, Belgian beers, sour beers, barleywines, barrel-fermented beers and barrel aged beers, there’s something for everyone.

Triple Bottom Brewing

Feel good about your happy hour at Triple Bottom Brewing, a craft brewery with a conscience, creating meaningful, living-wage jobs for people who have experienced homelessness or incarceration. The crisp fall weather is perfect for Crunch, their rich and malty Märzen, which they say tastes like the “oh so satisfying feeling of stepping on a crunchy leaf.”

Dock Street Brewery

Dock Street Brewing Company is Philadelphia’s first craft brewing company. Established in 1985, this independently owned, family-run, and woman-owned brewery is a fun, laid-back spot to hang with friends and family. Stop by to enjoy a variety of award-winning beers and craft cocktails with house-made syrups and Pennsylvania spirits.

Green Line Cafe

Green Line Cafe is a family-owned coffeehouse colloquially called “West Philly’s Living Room”. With five locations throughout the city, they’ve become a favorite for serving organic and fairly-traded coffee and quick bites in a welcoming atmosphere. Grab a seasonal snack like their Harvest Melt and a pumpkin spice-infused coffee for a quick pick-me-up.

South Philly Food Co-op

South Philly’s very own community-owned grocery store is known for their fresh, high-quality foods and beverages. Their mission is to use food as a force for good – at our tables, in our community and for our planet. And no, you don’t have to be a member to shop.

Pennsylvania General Store

For all things PA, the Pennsylvania General Store is a must-try. You’ll find all your favorite Philly snacks, including Sweetzels Ginger Snaps and Spiced Wafers, all your favorite Tastykakes, and classic philly pretzels.

Nuts to You

Nuts to You is a family-run nut house serving gourmet nuts, popcorn, dried fruits, candies, and chocolates. Named “Best of Philly” three times, their high-quality treats are a favorite throughout the city. This fall, grab some fall- and Halloween-themed sweets in store or online. You can’t go wrong with their Gummy Pumpkins or Autumn Nonpareils.

Franklin Fountain

As you take a stroll through Philly’s Old City, stop by Franklin Fountain for a sweet treat. Founded in 2004 by the Berley Brothers, this authentic ice cream parlor and soda fountain is a must-try. Snag a fall-inspired snack, like apple butter or pumpkin ice cream, fizzes and phosphates, and homemade baked goods guaranteed to delight.

East Passyunk Fall Fest

October 26 • 11am – 4pm

Enjoy some seasonal fun at the East Passyunk Fall Fest. Head out to this spooktacular family event on East Passyunk Ave between Morris and Dickinson Streets. There will be activities for kids and adults alike, including pumpkin carving, arts and crafts, live music, trick or treating and food and drink specials up and down the Avenue Learn more here.

Yokai Family Weekend & Flea Market

October 26 • 11am – 5pm

Head to Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center at Fairmount Park for Yokai Family Weekend and Flea Market. Yokai are supernatural creatures and spirits from Japanese folklore that live all around us. This all-day affair boasts a flea market with proceeds benefiting the Japan America Society. Plus, kids can enjoy a scavenger hunt, Kamishibai storytelling, and spooky origami crafts. Maze Days at Dilworth Park

Now until October 27

Experience fall on the farm without leaving the city. Dilworth Plaza has transformed into a family-friendly maze extravaganza. Maze Days features events fun for the whole family, including children’s story time, live pumpkin carving, and more. And on October 26th, enjoy an afternoon of music, fresh apple cider making, plus a stein-hoisting contest hosted by Broad Street Brewing. Learn more here

Placita at the Rail Park: A Halloween Night Market

October 26 • 3pm – 9pm

Celebrate Mexican culture and Halloween in one immersive event. Placita at the Rail Park, a Halloween night market hosted by the Association of Mexican Business Owners and Friends of the Rail Park will feature 30+ food and craft vendors, a beer garden, music, crafts, and trick or treating. Costumes are encouraged. RSVP here

Halloween Beer Garden Show

October 31 • 6pm – 11:59pm

On Halloween night, West Philly Orchestra and special guest Rumi Kitchen are performing at Attic Brewing. Get ready for all your favorite Halloween classics, including a costume contest, spooky cocktails, fire pits, and tarot card readings with Lauren. It’s sure to be fun for the whole family. Halloween at McGillin’s Olde Ale House

Now until October 31

Stop by McGillin’s Olde Ale House to enjoy a boo-ze-filled evening surrounded by over-the-top spooky decor. As the oldest continuously operating tavern in Philadelphia, they have plenty of experience making your fall festive. Learn more here.

The Portal at Love Park

Now until November 7

The Portal is officially open. Stop by Love Park to get a peek into the lives of our European neighbors. This art installation features a large screen live-streaming to cities like Dublin, Ireland; Vilnius, Lithuania; and Lublin, Poland. The Portal will stay in LOVE Park through at least November 7th, then move to a new location in the city. Learn more here.

Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary

Now until November 9

Get your fright on at a Halloween festival of epic proportions. Explore the historic Eastern State Penitentiary with five haunted houses, historic tours, themed bars and lounges, live entertainment, and so much more. Learn more and purchase tickets here.
