Meg Clark, Executive Assistant in the Office of the President

Meg joins us after spending the last three years as an Executive Assistant in State Government, initially in the Department of Education and more recently for the Governor’s Chief of Staff.  Meg is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

Finance

Wanda Speight, Senior Vice President for Financial Services

Wanda comes to the PIDC family with over 20 years of lending and management experience that includes traditional for-profit lending at GMAC and Sovereign Bank, as well as non-profit, mission-based lending at The Reinvestment Fund and the Opportunity Finance Network.  Wanda’s unique blend of leadership experience provides a great background for PIDC’s financial services group and brings a strong background in Community Development Financing Institutions (CDFI’s) just as we are finalizing our strategic plan for small business lending.

David Langlieb, Assistant Vice President Financial Services

David joined PIDC five years ago as an intern. After his internship, he moved into his role in Financial Services administering grant programs and has proven his passion for Philadelphia and economic development.  During his time here Dave has administered over 260 grants for over $594 Million.  He has developed a strong reputation with our clients and will continue to play an important role for the Financial Services Group.

David is a graduate of Haverford College and has a Masters in Government Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jorge Santana, Program Manager, Grant Administration

Jorge brings a diverse background in not-for-profit management where he was involved in multiple RACP grants from application through completion phases.  He has experience in neighborhood development and community engagement in Hunting Park and Lower Northeast neighborhoods of Philadelphia.  Jorge has a Master of Government Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is fluent in Spanish.

Marketing & Business Development

Brad Boone, Vice President, Marketing & Business Development

Brad joined PIDC about 3.5 years ago within our Financial Services team and has a strong passion for Philadelphia and economic development.  During his time here, Brad has learned the ins and outs of business underwriting and he will be able to bring those credit skills to the role of business development and going out and identifying strong prospects for PIDC’s lending (and real estate) products.  Brad is also in the process of earning his MBA in the Executive program at Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson School of Management, from which he will graduate next year.  Prior to joining PIDC, Brad spent about 8 years working for Fannie Mae both in Philadelphia and Washington, DC in the Capital Markets and Marketing/Customer Management groups.

The Navy Yard

Pete Reinke, Vice President, Navy Yard Leasing and Development

Most recently, Pete served for seven years as Vice President at the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. Prior to that time, Pete served in a number of other economic development capacities that included having served as a part of the Governor’s Action Team of PA. In addition to all of this public side experience, Pete also spent his earlier career in positions within the private sector where he was in charge of leasing and development activities.

Francine Hines, Administrative Assistant

Francine has over eight years of experience in customer service, administrative and clerical assisting, and data entry.  She has served as office administrator in mortgage companies, investment banks, insurance companies, and law firms.  She has a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Studies from The University of Hartford-Hartt School of Music.
