Manufacturer Resources that Increase Your Bottom Line • Oct. 2, 2019

The current manufacturing marketplace is complex. But, did you know that there are organizations and programs available in the Philadelphia region that can save your business thousands of dollars? From tax incentives to subsidized training, there are scores of programs that can benefit you right now. Hear from a panel of manufacturing peers who have taken advantage of many of these opportunities for their companies. Learn how easy it is for your company to implement and take advantage of the many offerings.

PIDC is proud to partner with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Manufacturing Alliance to bring you this awesome event featuring PIDC client panelists from Kevin O’Brien Studio, CLIQ Jewelry, and DiSorb Systems.

MED Week 2019 Events • Oct. 7-11, 2019

Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week highlights minority businesses and the resources that help them grow. Throughout the week, PIDC, along with a few partners, will host events focused on this year’s theme, “Moving the Needle.”

How to Move the Needle • 10/9 @ 8:30AM

Join the Office of Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown and PIDC for our MED Week event, “How to Move the Needle.” We’ll show you how to do just that through an engaging series of expert presentations featuring valuable information, guidance, and advice to minority-owned business enterprises on how to grow your business by minimizing costs and maximizing profits. Panelists will discuss potential contracts, the top five things organizations look at when reviewing contracts, and how to sustain and grow your business. Join us at The Navy Yard on for this free event.

Business Resources at Community College of Philadelphia: Education & Contracts • 10/9 @ 12:30PM

PIDC partners, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB), will host an event including a panel of minority business owners, who are 10KSB alums, discussing their classroom experience, business experiences, and results. This event will also provide access to procurement, facilities, and IT resources within the Community College of Philadelphia so minority business suppliers can identify contract opportunities!
