Replica Global was founded in 2009. Replica is in the business of providing high quality print, graphic and duplication services, web, multimedia marketing materials, and post-press services.  Established as a small black and white copy shop with a client base that was exclusively law firms in the center city area, Replica has grown to one of the most respected design and print firms in the region with a client base that extends from New York to Virginia.

In 2010, Replica had outgrown its original location and with financing from PIDC they were able to  relocate to a larger and more efficient location and complete the rebranding from traditional print shop to a market leading creative brand.  Replica continued to have impressive business growth. By 2013 PIDC was again able to assist Replica with financing to open a second location in University City. Replica’s drive to innovate and connect with current and future clients led to the launch of The Creative Café at Replica.  It is the first design and print studio to cohabit a full café, resulting in hundreds of people a day exposed to Replica’s offerings.  The Café has partnerships with Stephen Starr Catering and Kermit’s Bake Shop for sandwiches, wraps, salads, and baked goods.  Coffee is supplied by another Philadelphia favorite, La Colombe.

Replica continued with successful growth and in 2015 launched a new business division, Wallsome which specializes in customizable, reusable wall graphics.  PIDC was again able to assist Replica with financing for business expansion and creation of a Wallsome showroom.

“Flexible financing from PIDC has been vital to the growth of my small business,” said Dr. Leaphart.  “Having access to capital provides opportunity for small businesses to survive and thrive in every Philadelphia neighborhood.  In our case, PIDC financing allowed us to take an innovative idea from dream to reality.  We appreciate the support and we encourage continued investment as a key to the success of small businesses throughout the city.”
