The  Pennsylvania Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) offers matching grants, generally ranging from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000, funded by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of economic development, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. RACP grant awards are issued by the Commonwealth and administered through the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development (PAID) for projects within the City of Philadelphia.

The RACP program is very competitive with limited funding that is distributed across the Commonwealth.  Projects that have been authorized in a capital budget and are ready to proceed with demonstrated need for the funds and substantial impact will have a higher likelihood of success.

We encourage you to prepare materials required for the application in advance of the opening date. We are available to assist you with questions on the application process.
