Project Development 101 – Part 1

Learn how to develop a successful commercial or mixed-use real estate project during this comprehensive training.  Gain the knowledge of an experienced real estate team and finance experts who will walk you through the complete cycle – from identifying the project and assembling and acquiring the land, to financing, construction and ultimately, operations and management.

4-Part Construction Series

With an overwhelming amount of construction activity in Philadelphia, both in the private and public sectors, it is critical for contractors to be at the top their game.  PIDC recognizes the challenges associated with construction and, by popular demand, is repeating the four-part Construction Workshop series.  The series will cover bonding, bid pricing, construction law and contracts, and expectations of working with various stakeholders in a construction project.

JULY

Managing Your Personal Credit for Business Growth

As you strive to continue growing your business, don’t let your personal credit be a deterrent.  Building wealth begins by understanding how to manage your personal credit. This workshop will help you become more knowledgeable about the nuances of personal credit, shaping your credit profile, and developing a game plan and wealth creed to live by.

SEPTEMBER

3- Part Financial Statements Series 

This workshop will break-down the mystery of the financial statements by the 3 component parts: the balance sheet, the profit & loss/income statement, and the statement of cash flows.  Participants will leave each session with a greater understanding for building, interpreting and articulating the financial statements that position your company for success.

OCTOBER

Women of Industry in Philadelphia

Back by popular demand, PIDC will host an expert panel discussion that includes powerhouse executive women in the industrial and manufacturing sector.  Panelists will share their career experiences as well as discuss the topics and trends currently driving growth in the industrial sector in Philadelphia.
