CateringByDesignPIDCpicnic2013On July 31st , PIDC held its Annual Family Picnic on the parade grounds at The Navy Yard with a Hawaiian theme. The staff mixed and mingled with their kids, grand kids, husbands, wives and friends as a delicious feast of roasted pork, mahi mahi, tofu, shrimp, coleslaw, grilled chicken, and pineapples, was prepared by PIDC client Catering by Design. To end the perfect meal, everyone was treated to bananas foster for dessert and fresh fruit.PIDCpicnic2013

PIDCpicnic_2013Throughout the day the group was entertained by the amazing hula dancers and musicians from the Aloha Hula Show  while the kids splish splashed in the large water slide. It was also perfect weather for the group to take a walking tour of The Navy Yard showcasing all of the new development including the under construction Courtyard by Marriott and Marc Vetri restaurant. PIDC staff generally sees each other five days a week in their work clothes, running off to meetings and closing deals. It’s always relaxing to get together and have fun with our families. Thanks to our Employee Engagement Committee for putting together a fun filled day. We are looking forward to next year!
