PGW ENERGYSENSE NOW OFFERS CASH GRANTS AND REBATES TO PHILADELPHIA BUSINESSES

PGWEnergy efficiency projects are routinely a good investment for property owners to increase property value while cutting operating costs. Philadelphia Gas Works has made efficiency projects even more attractive and cost-effective through EnergySense, a portfolio of programs to help their residential, commercial, and industrial customers save energy and save money.

PGW EnergySense now offers cash grants and rebates to Philadelphia businesses, including:

  • Equipment Rebates of $2,000 and $500 for high-efficiency residential-sized boilers and furnaces, respectively;
  • Equipment Rebates of up to $8,400 for high-efficiency commercial-scale boilers, and $1,200 for high-efficiency commercial cooking equipment;
  • Building Grants of up to $75,000 for comprehensive energy upgrade projects to existing properties;
  • Construction Grants of up to $60,000 for new or gut-rehabilitated energy efficient commercial, industrial, or multi-family buildings, and $2,750 for single-family homes.
