There’s always something to do and you can find inspiration everywhere. It’s a city that is culturally diverse and filled with a ton of learning experiences.
Favorite spot to eat and/or hangout in Philadelphia:
I love to eat anywhere in Chinatown. Depending on the day or season, you can find me hanging out at a new brunch joint, tasting new brews at the local pub, dancing at a small concert venue, riding on the bike trail in Fairmount park, playing volleyball with Stonewall or the Lady Suns, or screening films for the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival.

It offers plenty of opportunities for professionals with the growing job market. Plus, the city is crawling with a variety of attractions, events, and more! You’ll never run out of things to do, places to go, and people to see.

I love Center City as a whole. The fast-paced momentum, towering buildings, countless businesses, and bustling atmosphere completely mesmerizes me. I just love the big city feel that Philadelphia offers.

The people in Philadelphia are down-to-earth and friendly. The parks and trails make it easy to take a break from the city grind. However, all of the amazing shops, restaurants, and culture make me never want to leave.
Favorite spot to eat and/or hangout in Philadelphia:
My go-to spots are Middle Child, Nomad Pizza, and Cheu Noodle bar. All serve simply amazing food in a warm, friendly, and casual atmosphere that keeps me coming back for more.

Favorite place to eat at the moment is Bar Bombón — Vegan food with Puerto Rican roots. The food is amazing! There’s something very Philadelphia about eating outside and trying to hold a conversation amongst the beeping car horns of Center City traffic. Plus, I like to jog or hike Forbidden Drive along the tranquil Wissahickon Creek. It’s my peace in a busy city!

My main role with PIDC is to obtain credit approval for business which are seeking to grow or undertake certain projects in our wonderful city. Part of the underwriting process involves identifying the wider community benefits which would be derived from PIDC’s input, such as increased employment or revitalization of an underserved area.

In my short time with PIDC, I have recognized that it’s the people that work there that make it a great place to work! Everyone has been super welcoming and make it a pleasure to walk in the door every day!

I love V Street! It’s a vegan restaurant on 19th and Chestnut. It has a relaxed vibe with great small plates and drinks!
