PIDC continues to grow, drawing from Philadelphia’s top talent. We hired a great group of hardworking, talented, and experienced employees in various fields. It is our pleasure to introduce you to our new additions to the PIDC team!

Kassandra Colon

HOMETOWN: North Philadelphia

DEPARTMENT: Portfolio Management

TITLE: Loan Portfolio Monitor

What role will you play in helping PIDC drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia?

The role I will play is [supporting PIDC’s portfolio management team] and volunteering regularly at events in the community to share knowledge on who we are and the great impact we have made in our city already. This will also contribute to our positive company culture. At its core, culture is a reflection of our values, behaviors, traditions, and attitudes. And here at PIDC, we stand that ground firmly helping all of our current and future clients!

Philadelphia is a great place to work and live because:

The affordable housing, good job market, cultural sites, diverse neighborhoods with their own charm, and, of course, it’s the home of the Eagles, Sixers, Flyers, and Phillies!

Jackie Hall

HOMETOWN: Mt. Airy

DEPARTMENT: Navy Yard

TITLE: Community Engagement Coordinator

What role will you play in helping PIDC drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia?

My role as the community engagement coordinator is to help drive engagement and programming guided by our values at PIDC to the southernmost part of the city through impactful events that make the Navy Yard a go-to place in the city.

Philadelphia is a great place to work and live because:

Not only is it the best city in the world, but it has a rich background in the arts and culture scenes. Philadelphia also has the best fans! Let’s go Eagles!

Jacob Dillon

HOMETOWN: Olivia, MN

DEPARTMENT: Navy Yard

TITLE: Director, Marketing & Communications

What role will you play in helping PIDC drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia?

My goal as the director of Navy Yard marketing & communications is to raise the profile of the Navy Yard and make it a destination in Philadelphia through the promotion of the existing industrial and commercial spaces, the upcoming residential and retail spaces, and the expansion of unique events and community-facing programming. The Navy Yard can be used as an example of the impact PIDC and its strategic partners can make and how it is a model to encourage growth, investment, and collaboration throughout the city.

Philadelphia is a great place to work and live because:

I am a transplant, but after seven years of living in Philadelphia, it is my new home. The city is such a great place to work and live because of the access to public transportation, culture, food, nature/outdoors, and sports. You can get to the ocean or the mountains within 90 minutes. You can see world-class art exhibits whenever you choose. But the best part about living and working in Philly is the people. Each neighborhood has its own unique personality with very passionate people.

Camille Simpkins

HOMETOWN: West Philadelphia born and raised! With COIs, business owners, and entrepreneurs is where I spend most of my days.

DEPARTMENT: Business Lending

TITLE: Relationship Manager

What role will you play in helping PIDC drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia?

As I think about the corporate strategy of PIDC, I gravitate towards one of the four pillars – connect. I view the role of relationship manager as a connector – a connector to human capital, growth capital, and my personal favorite, glow capital. As a connector, I am the trinity of community, confidence, and consistency. As I build a pipeline of diverse clients across all business enterprises in the city, I will embrace consistency in my daily activities and follow-up with commitment to our partners, clients, and colleagues.  I will drive PIDC’s brand in the business community as a trusted advisor, proactive to growth and not reactive to challenges.

Philadelphia is a great place to work and live because:

Contrary to popular belief, it is the city of brotherly love and sisterly affection. When walking down the streets of Philadelphia, you are often greeted with a smile or a head nod. The rich tapestry of the city appears in the architecture – past and present. The colorful spirit of the city captures your attention through the canvas of art, music, and cuisine. The economy grows in every business corridor from education, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. The history in every neighborhood of Philadelphia, from Germantown to West Philly, represents growth, empowerment, resilience, and strength.
