In February, PIDC hosted Green Building United, Sustainable Business Network, and Philadelphia Energy Authority for an overview of the recently-launched Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) Program in Philadelphia.

The Commercial Property-Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) is a financing structure that allows commercial property owners to borrow money for energy and water efficiency improvements and renewable energy installations via a special assessment similar to a property tax assessment. Speakers shared details of the financing program including eligible energy efficiency, renewable energy, and stormwater management projects which can all contribute to reducing carbon footprints and increasing savings on utility bills for property owners.

Learn more about C-Pace.
