CommerceCompetitive gap financing now available for commercial and industrial real estate projects in in the American Street (ASEZ) and North Central (NCEZ) Empowerment Zones.

The Philadelphia Department of Commerce and the American Street Empowerment Zone (ASEZ) and North Central Empowerment Zone (NCEZ) Community Trust Boards are pleased to announce the Neighborhood Economic Development Impact Grants (NEDIG) Request for Proposals (RFP) for the ASEZ and NCEZ.

The NEDIG funding is a competitive RFP process for interested non-profit and for-profit developers providing gap financing for commercial or industrial real estate development projects. Projects must be new construction or substantial rehabilitation of a vacant building to be eligible (residential projects are not eligible). Development projects must be located within the NCEZ or ASEZ boundaries and show an impact to the neighborhood.
