Daroff Design is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed, woman-owned (WBE) interior design and architecture firm founded in Philadelphia in 1973 by Karen Daroff, native Philadelphian and graduate of local Moore College of Art and Design. Staffed with highly talented architects, planners, interior designers and graphic artists, Ms. Daroff’s firm works with their clients, while often partnering with third party architects, to create innovative hospitality, workplace and aviation terminal environments that thoughtfully respond to clients’ strategic branding, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

Headquartered in Center City Philadelphia, DDI’s many local projects include the Philadelphia International Airport, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Municipal Services Building, Criminal Justice Center and Comcast’s headquarters, while an extensive amount of Daroff Design’s multinational clients’ projects are located across the country, including, Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels, Universal Studios and Disney resorts, Sony, Viacom, Paramount Entertainment, NBC Universal facilities, many of the Atlantic City and regional casinos and hundreds of restaurants, including the iconic Rainforest Cafes.

With 45 years of success here in Philadelphia, Daroff Design continues to make their mark in the industry. Notably, Daroff Design was named one of Interior Design and Contract Magazine’s “Top 10 Hospitality Design Giant,” ranked #21 in “Largest Women Owned Businesses” by the Philadelphia Business Journal, and featured in the book “Interior Design in Practice: Case Studies of Successful Business Models.

Daroff Design received and repaid a Capital Project Loan from PIDC to improve, furnish and install a state-of-the-art computer network required to sustain growth and hire new employees within their 11,000 square foot, 50 workstation studio facility and 1,300 square foot archive.
