roadmap1516-bloggraphic-267x165The Roadmap seeks to create a shared agenda with Mayor Jim Kenney, City Council and Philadelphia’s business and civic community in support of economic growth and job creation.

Over the next few months, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce will host a multi-platform conversation with the Philadelphia community to gain perspectives on the following topics; Revitalizing Neighborhood Economies, Developing a Trained and Educated Workforce, and Leveraging our Infrastructure. Add your voice to this conversation at the policy forums where you can recommend your own ideas, respond to guest commentary from local leaders tackling important questions and use #PhillyRoadmap to join the dialogue on Twitter. You can read the report findings from year one here.

On April 28th John Grady will participate in the Revitalizing Neighborhood Economies forum. This policy forum will feature Harold Epps, Commerce Director for the City of Philadelphia, who will detail the Kenney Administration’s plans to support increased commercial corridor growth.

A group of business and civic leaders then will guide audience members in an interactive discussion exploring how we collectively can promote prosperity and economic opportunity for every Philadelphian. Our discussion will focus on the support of current initiatives and the adoption of best practices from other cities that can work to revitalize neighborhood economies. Register here.
