Walk Along the Navy Yard’s Riverfront Greenway

As the day begins to warm up, head to the Navy Yard to enjoy the fall breeze along Riverfront Greenway, a one-mile path along Admiral Peary Way that overlooks the Delaware River. It’s the perfect spot for a scenic walk with family and friends. And as one of only six arboretums in Philadelphia, the Navy Yard is a great place to take in the beauty of the changing leaves. After your walk, pop by your favorite of one of six parks throughout the Yard for a picnic or just some relaxation.

Or head to Baltimore Avenue in West Philly for the perfect fall vibes, great shopping, global cuisine that will knock your socks off.

Enjoy drinks at Triple Bottom Brewing

After spending some time at the museums, unwind with a craft beer, local wine, or specialty cocktail at Triple Bottom Brewing. You can feel good supporting this mission-driven craft brewery–they hire individuals traditionally excluded from the mainstream economy, including people who have experienced homelessness or incarceration.
