Vincera Core Physicians, a Navy Yard tenant currently located in Building M-1, will expand and become part of Vincera Institute when their new home at Building 489 is complete in spring 2013.  P&A Associates is developing and renovating the former movie theater and recreation building, located at 12th & Constitution Ave, into a 34,000 square foot comprehensive sports medicine facility devoted to core health and performance.

Led by Dr. William C. Meyers, Vincera Institute is a top injury diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation center for professional, collegiate, and recreational athletes from all over the country.  Vincera Institute will also be teaming with top doctors from the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York to include treatment for hip injuries.  In addition to physician offices, their new facilities will house an ambulatory surgery center, imaging suite, rehabilitation and performance therapies, yoga studio, a non-profit foundation, and a small coffee shop in the lobby as another option for Navy Yard tenants to grab a snack and coffee.   We look forward to seeing Vincera Institute in their new home!

On behalf of the City of Philadelphia, PIDC manages the master planning and development of The Navy Yard, encompassing 1,200 acres and is home to over 120 companies and 10,000 employees.
